Hi welcome to HCm
I have gone thru your query regarding drinking more water and gaining more weight after working out .
You have not mentioned your age ,wt. ht. which can give rough idea of how
much wt you should retain for keeping in good shape ?
For your info ,If you do happen to gain weight when starting a new program, odds are that it’s not fat, but rather temporary water weight due to inflammation. Give it some time and it will pass.
A reason ,you’re gaining weight is that you’re building muscle faster than you’re shedding fat.
Not following a proper diet can be another cause , exercise burns calories, but it also increases releases a hormone that promotes hunger. So if you’re not paying attention, you’ll probably eat moreand acuire wt .
Exercise is a good thing, but it also puts your body under
stress. By itself, that’s great. It’s part of that adaptation
Do quicker lighter exercises with light weights jogging and brisk walk and Yogic postures all help gain well defined body, without any side effects . fat will be gone .Dont worry and it will help in even losing weight as time goes on.
Dear , regarding consumption of water,it is your body's principal chemical component and makes up about 60 percent of your body weight.
and you are not ding any thing wrong . Only thing to be checked is that you don't have any problem ,which promotes water retention . You must consult a physician in that respect .
Every day you lose water through your breath, perspiration, urine and bowel movements.Nearly 2.3 ltr to 3 ltr water per day is recommended for your body to function properly, and you need to drink extra water to compensate for the fluid loss. when you are exercising ,an extra 1.5 to 2.5 cups (400 to 600 milliliters, you must replenish its water supply by consuming beverages and foods that contain water.
It flushes toxins out of vital organs, carries nutrients to your cells and provides a moist environment for ear, nose and throat tissues.
Lack of water can lead to
dehydration, a condition that occurs when you don't have enough water in your body to carry out normal functions. Even mild dehydration can drain your energy and make you tired.
Hope I have replied both of your queries .
Don't hesitate to get back if have any further query . take care Al the best
