What Causes Lymphedema In Both Legs After Sclerotherapy?

I am 65 yrs old, RN. working FT, weigh 120, had vein procedure for the heavy, fatigue in my legs. I work out regularly by the way. The procedure -- laser, vein removal, and sclerotherapy was done last fall. Since then I seem to have lymphedema in both legs -- worse in the right. It s in the ankle area and about 4 to 5 in. above. Had it checked by the dr. who did the procedure in April, and he had no answers saying my ultrasound was fine. What do you think? It is uncomfortable with some times pain in the outer right ankle.

You may need post procedural graded elastic stockings if it's due to procedural complication.

Don't keep your legs in the standing position for more than 2 hours at any time.
