What Causes Lumps On The Upper Arms And Sides Of Abdomen?

I have lumps that feel like cysts under my skin in my upper arms on underside and on sides of my abdomen and a few in groin area. I am very obese so I WAS THINKING MAYBE THEY ARE SACKS OF FAT. Some are very tender to touch others aren t to bad but when I squeeze some of them they seem to break and disappear under my skin but it leaves extreme bruise. Any idea what it is and should I be concerned?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello
Looking at your history this could be Lipoma (a benign tumor of fat cells)
If you can upload a photo I will be able to tell you accurately

This can be removed surgically if it produces any pressure symptoms
It should be sent for histopathology after resection to see for cancer growth

It can be left unattended if it's not producing any symptom
Thanks for using our services
