What Causes Lumps In Armpit And Dark Spots On Labia?

Hi I am currently suffering with tonsilitis and have been for 6 day now. Yesterday I then noticed a couple of lumps appear in my armpit and also what I can only describe as a dark purple/black flat spot in the inside of my labia, it does feel slightly tender to touch. Could all this be related to the tonsilitis infection or is it something else completely different? Thank you.

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi.
As per your case history of lumps on armpits and spots on labia, my treatment advice is -
1. These skin lesions are not related to tonsillitis.
2. They are probably folliculitis in armpit and mild fungal infection on labia.
3. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like fusiderm cream twice daily on armpit lesions.
4. Apply an antifungal cream like clotrimazole cream twice daily on labia.

If problem persists then consult a dermatologist.

Thanks.
