hi i am a 19 year old female. about 6 months ago i noticed a lump under my skin in my lower left abdomen. i can not see it through my skin but i can feel it under my muscle. recently i noticed similar smaller lumps around it. it is not painful just tender to the touch. any advice on what this could be?
based from your description, it could be any of the following lesions: a fibroma (fibrous tissue deposit), a lipoma (fatty deposit) or a cystic lesion (sebaceous or keratinous type). other tumor lesions must also be ruled-out. diagnostics (such as imaging and a tissue biopsy) may be recommended. management (medical and/or surgical) will be directed accordingly.
hope this helps.
good day!!
