What Causes Lump Toward The Back Of Neck?

I have a lump on the right side of my neck, towards the back. I ve had it for several years, but recently its gotten a little bigger, about 1inch, and is now visible above the skin. Its painless, doesn t move and is hard. I m not sick right now and I feel fine. Should I get his checked out by a doctor?

Hi,
As you have had it for several years then it is likely to be a sebaceous cyst. However, to be certain, I suggest you need to have your doctor examine it to confirm the diagnosis.
