What Causes Lump On The Throat?

noticed lump on right side of throat. not sure if it is a lump or very swollen. went to family dr, thought it was swollen thyroid or goiter. all bloodwork for thyroid and cbc came back normal. cat scan with contrast showed distended swellling inside as well as outside, said my doctor. recommended that i see an ENT for endoscopy. not sure what it could be. any thoughts would be helpful

Your issues are ill defined , before doing CAT scan what was the probable diagnosis made , was there any other symptoms associated with...Need Cat scan image and report for comments.
