What Causes Lump On The Cheek Along With Pain Radiating To The Temple?
Hello, how are you? So I was attacked and punched incredibly hard just underneath my temple, towards the upper cheek bone. Immediately there was a lump and the next the the swelling turned into a black eye. I still have a very hard lump on the place of impact it s incredibly painful and I find it hard to chew food on that side as pain is sharp and shoots upwards to my temple. What is going on?

Hi,
From history it appears that due to hard hit there might be having injury to cheek muscles and hematoma formation giving rise cellulitis and pain.
There is also a possibility of having fracture of cheek bone.
Go for x-ray cheek to rue out fracture.
Apply ice pack for 2-3 days.
Take some anti-inflammatory medicine like ibuprofen,paracetamol combination.
Ok and take care.
