What Causes Lump On The Back Side Of Arm After Dog Bite?
I was bitten by a dog on June 2 on my upper arms. I went to the ER because some were very deep bleeding. They cleansed tbe areas , put steri strips on the bad ones. And bandaged me up. They also gave me tetanus shot.Within the past 48 hours, one area on the back side of my arm at my elbow has a lump about the size of an egg. It feels warm but doesn't hurt and no redness. I have no fever or any other symptoms. I was not prescribed antibiotics just Motin for pain. I have no insurance. Do I need to go back to the doctor if the swollen lump ( it's soft not hard) isn't red or painful?
