General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Dear it could be haemorroid (vein swelling) or polyp.
The main cause of haemorroid can be contipation long period and having less fibre in diet. The bleeding is occuring because passing of hard stool and rupturing small venules.
Polyp can also cause these symptoms.
If their is polyp , it has to be evaluated for benign or malignant state.
You may need proctoscopy and colonoscopy to be done and discuss further with general surgeon.
For pain you may use xylocaine gel , and increase fibre in diet,to soften the stool and to avoid pain during defecation.
Hope my answer will be helpfull.
Regards,Dr.Maheshwari
