What Causes Lump Inside The Upper Right Butt Crack Area?

Hey, I was in the shower today and while washing up found a large lump just inside my upper right butt crack area. At first I was freaked out but I need to figure out what it is. It does not hurt much and hasn t been very itchy so far. Does not look like a pimple or rash, and it s kind of hard feeling. Any idea what this could be?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
It is known from your history that this is a painless swelling and you have noticed this incidentally.
The most probable cause for such lumps is either a non-infected cyst or a lipoma.
I would advise you to consult a General Surgeon to find out the cause. It is better to get this removed (excised) for 2 reasons.
1> your get rid of the disease and
2> you get the histopathological diagnosis- makes you tension-free that it is not a cancer.
