What Causes Lump In The Vagina With Itchiness During Pregnancy?
I m 33 weeks pregnant and getting out of the car last week it felt like there was a lot more pressure on my pelvic area. I thought I just had to pee but when I went to the bathroom I noticed a large lump that was sensitive to the touch. It does not hurt when Having intercours but I am very sore and itchy most of the time
Hello and welcome to HCM, A lump in vagina which is sore and itchy is suggestive of an infectious pathology in the vaginal wall. Fungal infection is associated with itchiness and discharge. Is there associated discharge also? Lump can occur due to swelling or induration. A clinical assessment is required and prompt treatment also. Infections during pregnancy have the risk of infecting the gestational sac thus prompt action is required. Thus, consult your gynecologist at the earliest.
Thanks and take care Dr Shailja Puri
