What Causes Lump At The Base Of My Sternum?

I have a round lump at the base of my sternum I don t think it has always been there. It is big enough that just rubbing my hand over it with minimal pressure and I can feel it it is not painful unless I press on it fairly hard then its not extreme just mild pain.

Get this confirmed and removed is the Surgeon thinks so.
If it grows more , the surgery too will be a large
You get the disease out of your body and get a definite diagnosis if this lump is excised.
