What Causes Lower Right Back Pain While Breathing?

I am having excruciating pain and cannot move barely. Pain is on the backside, right side, between bottom of bra and top of pantyline. It hurts to breathe, lay down, sit..move. Though walking actually seems to relieve a little bit of pain. Its been like this for 3 days. Pain shoots out and it hurts. Other than that i have no other symptoms.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Do not worry and I have gone through your question and I have some questions to ask:

1. Is the pain sharp or within a big area?
2. Is there any nausea or feverish feel?
3. Is there any tingling, stiffness, muscle cramps?
4. Is the pain from the back comes to the front, especially travels to the groin?

Along with the answer to the above questions, you must do these tests:

1. KUB (Kidney Ureter Bladder) X-Ray
2. Liver Function Test
3. Whole Abdomen USG
4. Blood Routine test
5. Chest X-Ray
6. Kidney Function Test

With all these tests and answers, you can post another question or can consult a general physician. These tests can give the doctor to understand the status of your kidney, liver, lungs, gallbladder, inside the abdominal organs, etc.

Then a treatment plan can be made easily. In the meantime, if you have too much pain, you can take a pain killer, NSAID. Do the tests as soon as possible.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Dipan Samanta, General & Family Physician
