What Causes Lower Left Abdominal Pain?

I am a 23 year old female with a history of endometriosis. I had a CT scan with no dye about two weeks ago for kidney stone pain. Now I am having lower left abdominal pain it even hurts when I cough I feel aches and sharp pain. I had an ultrasound a few months ago and was told I had a ovarian cyst. But when I had the CT scan two weeks ago nothing was said about it. This massive dull ache and sharp pain is upsetting. What could this be. Lower left abdomen. Thank I sincerely, Maygen

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It could be a renal stone.

As a first line management you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief.

If symptoms persist better to consult a general surgeon and plan for an ultrasound scan.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
