What Causes Lower Left Abdominal Pain?

Hello! I am 27 years old. I have pain on the left side of my lower stomach. Feels like ovarian pain. I ve had few cramps there a while ago and sometimes it hurts more than other times. Always in the same place. Also I have lower back pain and now my periods are 3 days late (no breast soreness or menstrual cramps or anything like that that I usually ALWAYS have). My period has always been on time. Few years ago I got conization, but my PAP tests have been negative ever since. I had bad vaginal discharge in august, but now it s been all good entire september thanks to probiotics. I really am worried, couldn t be pregnant. I have dr appointment in 10 days.

Hello,

Pregnancy is unlikely. You can simply go for a urine pregnancy test to check whether you are pregnant or not.

As first line management, you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief.

If symptoms persist better to consult a gynecologist and plan for an ultrasound scan.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
