Hi, thanks for posting your concern in the HCM.
I think you are having urinary tract infection. Yellowish discoloration of urine also warrants evaluation to rule out jaundice.
Further history will be needed for detailed
evaluation.
Do you have any history of fever?
Do you have loin pain?
Do you have any history of unprotected intercourse? If yes, is it with your regular partner?
How is your bowel habit?
You should consult an internal medicine specialist and if he/she suggests, an urosurgeon, for further evaluation.
You may need following tests-
Blood for complete blood count, urea, creatinine, electrolytes
Urine for routine examination and culture sensitivity
USG of whole abdomen
Liver function test
For the time being You should have plenty of oral fluid, preferably 3l per day
You may need antibiotics if you are diagnosed with UTI. In case of renal or ureteric stone, surgical management will be needed.
For any further questions, please write back to me.
Regards,
Dr. Kaushik
