I have lower back pain. And have a lot of pressure when I pee or try to pee. It starts to burn. It s very painful And feels like someone is stabbing me there. I m sexually active but it s been like this for a week. I ve been drinking nothing but water. Still doesn t help, what s the problem? And how do I solve it?
Hi Lower back pain may be of various reasons. From your description I suspect Urinary Tract Infection (UTI). Lower back pain and burning micturition is quite common in UTI. I suggest my patients antibiotic like norfloxacin or Ofloxacin with phenazopyridine for treatment of UTI. Thank you. Regards, Dr. Manan
