What Causes Lower Back Pain?

I have had lower back pain for at least two weeks straight now. I have tried stretching and while it does diminish some, it is still there and is still painful to walk at times. The pain is presenting on both sides and is similar in sensation to being punched. I am 51 in two weeks and in good health. I eat a mostly healthy diet, exercise about twice a week, am a non-smoker and rarely drink. I sleep at least 6.5 to 7.5 hours per night. Should I be concerned about colon cancer or some type of kidney failure?

For back pain you have to take some pain killer like tab akilos-p or tab ultracet after meals along with tab shalcal 500 mg or tab toscal-gem once daily preferably in afternoon with tab rantac or cap omez empty stomch. As you are an elderly female I suggest you to take pain killer not on regular basis but only when your back pain is unbearable or disturbing your daily work. You can also use volidup gel or powergesic-plus gel for local application. Apart from these you can also go for some physiotherapy exercises after an expert opinion of physiotherapist. Also you have to sleep on a plain surface because it is a good practice in case of back pain.
