My husband and I have the same problem of pain at lower back after having sex, he believes its infection and he went to the pharmacy they gave him cifran 500mg tablets. We started taking the pill yesterday. Is it right or must we consult a physician?

there are numerous causes of back ache after sexual intercourse
I would think basically it because of the position which you are using which is causing the back ache
FYI - Backache is usual after intercourse
I feel it is not very necessary to take antibiotic unnecessarily
