What Causes Lower Abdominal Pain?

I have a dull ache on the far lower right side of my abdomen since yesterday. I can feel it when I move about. Other than that it is not noticeable. I am not vomiting, or nauseous in anyway (I am rather hungry actually). I also do not have a fever. In fact, other than the dull ache, I am just fine. Should I go into critical care to make sure that it is not appendicitis pain?
