What Causes Lower Abdominal Pain?

I have lower stomach pain ( it s at by belt line, above my groin & 3-4 inches below the belly button, about center between my hips) that started before I got out of bed this morning & at 6:00pm it has sub-sited somewhat. The pain comes and goes in 5-8 minute intervolts. I have no fever, chills, vomiting, constipation or diarrhea. It s more painful when I sit rather when I stand. Yes, I have a belly, I m 6 foot tall at 215 pounds

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
It seems that you might be having intestinal colic giving frequent colicky pain.
This can be due to taking some heavy food or more spicy and junk food last night.
Take antispasmodic medicine like Meftal spas or Cyclopam stat.
Take light food today.
Take plenty of water.
Ok and take care.
