What Causes Lower Abdominal Pain And Heavy Vaginal Bleeding During Periods?

Doc I am a 25 years old girl. I have questions related to my periods problems. My period cycles r consistent. But when my periods start there is a lot of pain in my lower side of stomach for first 3 or 4 days. My cycles are consistent but my blood flow is heavy and i discharge large amount of red jelly like substance for first 3 daz. It s same in every periods. It s hard to manage. If i sit or lie down nd then stand up then jelly substance comes out in large amount with blood. I have to keep changing my pads after every two hours. Any suggestion.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, this could be menorrhagia and most probably could be due to hormone imbalance it may come around on its own after some time and if not then this need to be corrected with hormone therapy but before this, it is advisable to visit the gynecologist to rule out some differential diagnosis, may need some investigations, take care.
