What Causes Lower Abdominal Bloating With The History Of IBS?
I m 50 years old male and was diagnosed with ibs in 1989. For the past 8 months? I ve had excessive lower abdominal bloating.Some times I have pain with the bloating. This starts around 11am. It feels like a big gas bubble. I found that when I m feeling bloated like this if I lay down on my back for around ten minutes,I feel pressure release and feel better. Hope i describe it good enough for you understand. Thanks
The bloating with lower abdomen discomfort indicates Inflammatory bowel syndrome related sequences. Following measures will help you to better recovery path: - Consume more liquids - High fiber diet - Avoid all spices, non veg, dairy fat - Bulk forming laxative as Bran or Psyllium - Prokinetic drugs as Ipratroprium - Proton pump inhibitor as Rabeprazole or Pantoprazole - Avoid stress, anxiety - Avoid smoking, alcohol if consuming
Should discuss the need of a colonoscopy with your doctor as per the progress of the symptoms.
