HI, I'm a 28 yr old woman. I recently went to skin specialist for treatment of acne. The doctor suggested some blood/urine test. In the test the haemoglobin level shows as low at 11.7; ESR - 56; testesterone value -120. Urine appearance as turbid, bacteria-present, Pus cells - 20-25/HPF, Epithelial cells -6-8/HPF. Geriatrics Specialist 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for asking.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows.
1. You are suffering from urinary tract infection with mild anemia.
2. You need to get a urine culture and sensitivity test to identify the type antibiotics needed for treatment.
3. Get a hemogram done to identify the type of anemia. Start on iron and Vit B12 therapy. Testosterone is increased and possibly the cause of acne and needs to reduced. Eat nutritiously with less oil
Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
