What Causes Low Ferritin Levels In The Blood?

I m woirued about the blood loss my number keep dropping. Yesterday my B 12 was 294 and my ferritin was 7 and reticulocyte count 2. This is lower than the week before .my Dr wants to to bone marrow biospy is this necessary. My email. YYYY@YYYY

Kindly provide your complaint and full reports for giving exact comment

Your serum ferritin low.. It is low in case of iron deficiency anemia mainly

So PS examination should be done first and if it is case of iron deficiency anemia than iron tablet prescribed

If any bleeding history present than cause should be searched for

So first confirm IDA by serum TIBC, transferrin saturation percentage and by PS examination

If no cause obvious by this than only bone marrow advisable
