What Causes Low Energy Levels Despite Testosterone Injections?

Hello, I ve been taking testosterone injections for almost year now. 100 CM, once per week. I find that I have extremely low energy before the end of the week rolls around. I also have a weird taste in my mouth, that reminds me of when I was using eye drops to fight conjunctivitis. 2 questions, 1) is once per week enough? 2) Should I cycle off for a while to let my body create its own juice. And if so for how long?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

"As" per your clinical history is concerned please check your serum testosterone level and adjust medication dose as per your treating Doctor's [Endocrinologist] advice and dose depend upon your clinical history and serum testosterone level. You should not stop medication without your treating Doctor's advice.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Uday Nath Sahoo,
