Hi,I am Neethu Vipin (Dietitian & Nutritionist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been exercising now for about 5 months running/walking 3.5 miles a day and have lost about 25 pounds the problem is that now I have no energy I can literally fall asleep numerous times during the day and I have never been like that before. Also since I started exercising my period is coming a week early every month and before I was always regular every month within a day.
usually after a exercise/running energy level will go done because peripheral glucose will be utilized. exercise decrease the plasma glucose available to the brain. brain glucose goes down it will lead to loss of consciousness.
Regarding your concern you can take food substance like nuts, jaggery before your exercise in low amount that will maintain the energy level during and after the exercise.
calculate your BMI and do exercise depending on your calorie intake. if your intake is less and you are doing more exercise ultimately your energy level will come down.
eat healthy nourish food.
Thank you
