What Causes Low Blood Pressure After Having Back Surgery?

MY HUSBAND S BLOOD PRESSURE SEEMS TOO LOW TO ME. EARLIER TODAY IT WAS 90/40 , HE TOOK A SHOWER AND IT WENT UP TO 126/54. WE CUT HIS LOZARTAN IN HALF 2 DAYS AGO THINKING THAT MAY BE THE PROBLEM, HE HASN T CHANGE MUCH. HE SEEMS TO FEEL WELL, BUT A BIT MORE TIRED THAN USUAL. THIS CHANGE SEEMS TO HAVE COME ABOUT AFTER SOME RECENT BACK SURGERY.(LAMIMECTOMY L4-L5-S1). COULD THIS BE EXPECTED?

Sometimes it can accur after surgery.
You should discuss with your doctor, maybe he discontinues his losartan.

Hope I could help you.
