What Causes Low Blood Count?
My sister has had very low blood count for many many years she has had many blood transfusions now it is extremely bad and can not get it to stay up no time. She just got two units of blood a month and half ago and already had to have two more this last Saturday. Her doctor does not seem like he wants to do anything about it but is scareing me and her but we don t no what to do about it. She has been getting iron units for a year every week

Speak to her doctor about getting a bone marrow biopsy conducted to confirm the diagnosis. From the way you have written to the query, it seems as though you have not even been informed about her diagnosis.
I suspect a serious bone marrow abnormality and need you to look into that aspect. Speak to an oncologist as well.
