What Causes Loss Of Hair On Eyebrow After Taking Levothyroxine?

I have been on Levothyroxine, 50 MCG for about 9 months. I have moderate hypothyroidism. The medication has helped tremendously. However, just a couple of weeks ago I noticed a loss of eyebrow hair from the mid point to the end of the brows. It s a shock. Should my dosage be increased?

dear friend
Hair issues with thyroid are there and it is usually in form of hair loss when the thyroid is uncompensated ie if there is hypothyroid it reduces ,stops after levothyroxine is started. it doesn't happen other wise.

it may be possible if your thyroid issue is due to an auto-immune cause in that case there may be hair loss even after thyroid hormone replacement.

it also may be possible the two conditions are unrelated,
please discuss it with your treating physician and get alopecia areata ruled out which can be the cause
