Hello. Thanks for asking from HCM.
I can understand your concern. I will mention you alarming signs of
head injury and you can correlate it with your injury. Then it will be decided whether you should consult or not
: Vomiting
: Bleed through nose/ear/throat
: Loss of consciousness
: decreasing consciousness
: onset of new focal deficit
: memory impairment
: headache not responding to medicines and/or continuously increasing
Now in your case, you are having persistent headache, swelling at injury site,
blind spot in eye,
tingling and you are a known case of MS. Your signs and symptoms does not fit into serious injury, but if you pain does not settle,
consult doctor.
At home, you may follow few tips -
: apply ice packs at injury site
: take painkiller like
Diclofenac sodium after proper prescription
: turn your head to side if vomiting
: keep your head at higher level than chest if any alarming signs
: For MS, you can consult doctor if it is becoming symptomatic
: Blind spot in left eye will resolve in 10-14 days.
Thanks. Hope it will help you. Take care.
