My sister was admitted to the hospital with enlarged lymph nodes in her lungs and an enlarged spleen. 7 days prior she was treated for a boil on her back. Was given 2 types of antibiotics and developed a rash form head to toe. Antibiotics were DCed. Has had no appetite and severe acid reflux and heartburn when she eats a small amount of anything

Hello. Thanks for putting your query in HCM.

I can understand your concerns regarding your sister.

Loss of appetite and severe reflux appears to be due to antibiotics she has taken. However loss of appetite may be due to disease it self, as you said there ar enlarged lymphnodes and spleen, which may be due to some infection like TB etc, for which she requires evaluation. So take her to doctor for evaluation.

I hope I have answered your query and this will help you. If you have any further query I will be happy to answer that too. Remain in touch and get-well soon.
