Hello !
This is hypoguesia associated with diabetes mellitus. Many medicines for hypertension can also cause this scenario.
Check for zinc deficiency.
Go for a non-alcoholic,tobacco free life style.
She can take becosules to correct any b complex deficiencies.
Do not add extra spiced and salts to help feel the taste.Instead you can make it colorful.
Let her chew on a small piece of lemon at times.
Should have plenty amount of fluids.
