What Causes Loose Stools Containing Blood?

I have motions little liquid and afterwards littile solid normal motion. 3 to 6 times per day., Along with motion lot of gas is pushing motion. Once a week or so a little blood is also coming with motion. Please tell the reasons and remidy or what I should do? S. Srinivasan

Hello,

You may be suffering from bacillary dysentery or amoebic dysentery or irritable bowel syndrome or inflammatory bowel problems etc.

Get it done stool examination, colonoscopy and upper GI endoscopy.

Use tablet pantoprazole. Avoid spicy food and alcohol avoid smoking and caffeine drinks.

If symptoms not improved please consult your gastroenterologist he will examine and treat you accordingly.
