What Causes Longitudinal Pigmented Bands On Fingers And Toes?
I have longitudinnal pigmented bands in both of my great toes and a few digits on my right hand. I was told by a dermatologist that they were related to my skin-type ( YYYY@YYYY ). I just noticed a new stripe on one of my toes which is significantly darker than the others. Should I have this looked at?

You seem to have developed melanonychia which are basically longitudinal pigmented names over the nails of fingers and toes .
They are inherent in most cases and tend to stay in certain people .
They can also be related to persons skin type or can develop due to any nail bed trauma .
Only if suddenly you see s dark large band ,then you might need to see s dermatologist,otherwise these lesions are benign .
