What Causes Long Term Nausea After Drinking Tequila?

its been a week since I drank tequila and I have been feeling nauseous ever since. Has the tequila caused long term effects on my stomach, such as ulcer, inflammation of stomach lining? What can I do and how long will I be feeling this?? Please and thank you

Hi , I understand your concern.

Tequila has high concentration of alcohol. Alcohol can cause gastritis leading to pain abdomen, nausea , vomiting, decreased appetite etc.

Drinking tequila could have produced these symptoms in you.You will need antacids like sucralfate syrup with tab.omeprazole. if it does not reduce then you will need gastroenterologist consultation.He might ask you to get endoscopy done to rule out gastric ulcer.

Drinking alcohol is harmful to health. I strongly suggest you to stop alcohol is use.
