What Causes Little Red Flakes While Passing Stools?

i am told i have ibs for the past 10 years when I go to the doctor they just say you have had lots of test its 31/2 years since my last colonoscopy im 63 years of age i have notices little red flakes in my stools yesterday and today its blood I wiped it it blots on the paper and its worryinglakes

Respected User, hi it`s related to Collitis / Hemorrhoids.in absence of rest of details impossible to rule out possibilities.
*Take plenty of liquids to maintain hydration.
*Avoid oily / spicy / nonveg stuffs
*Avoid smoking / alcohol
*Keep BP , Blood sugar under control
*In our clinic we recommend stool examination and if needed colonoscopy in
needed cases , oral antibiotics if at all after judgement.
*Have light diet with more green leafy veg, curd.
*Can take bulk forming laxative if hard stools , pre-pro biotics also help.
