What Causes Lips To Swell And Burn?

I have been having my lips swell & burn very badly. I have tried eliminating things, but it still is happening. I have had Drs. to look at it but not when it is severe. I switched to Caltrate 600 *VD 600 plus Minerals a few months back. As I remember it was about the time my mouth area/lips began to be act up. Now it is a daily problem & I can t seem to find answers on line or in the medical field. Help

hello thanks for the consult at hcm..it could be canker sores or herpes labialis,, since you have burning lips,,or it could also be because of various minerals and vitamins,,since the caltrate has not helped,,lip swelling could be due to lot of reasons such as allergy--angioedema,,i would suggest you consult a oral physician for a check up..to undergo complete blood test and treatment finally,,also make a note when it flares up and if at it regresses ..hope it helps,,take care,,
