What Causes Limping?

My husband has Hashimoto's (diagnosed last year), he now has 3 numb fingers (having carpal tunnel surgery soon). But he has also been limping. Ortho said nothing wrong with his knee or movement... Neurologist said she will check a nerve next, but she doesn't seem to know much about it, she doesn't seem to know what is causing a "wide walk" with his left leg.

Hi,

Similar to carpal tunnel syndrome there can be tarsal tunnel syndrome of feet. I think the nerve conduction study will clear your doubts.

Hope I have answered your question. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.
