What Causes Lime Green Stool Followed By Dizziness And Nausea?
I am having issues with the color of my bowel movements, dizziness, nauseua and fatigue. It started today with a almost lime green stool that was very hard to push out even thought it was not hard itself. Later in the day I got dizziness and nausea that lasted about 20min and have had several instances since then. I would say at least 4 times in the same duration. I have felt fatigue all day from head to toe. Now that I am trying to sleep the nauseua is causing me to stay up right in bed.
Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted the history of having light green stool, difficult to pass in spite they are not hard, getting dizziness spells and nausea. Nausea causing loss of sleep. My thoughts: The green stool is almost always indicative of an infection unless you have eaten something that was green and remains undigested. In addition you have the following symptoms. Hence I would advise you the following: Test of stool, blood and urine. Ultrasonography of the abdomen. Appropriate antibiotics, probiotics and such things would help you to recover fully within 3 to 5 days. If there is no positive effects, then you need an opinion of a Gastroenterologist and go for further tests of colonoscopy and CT scan of the whole abdomen.
