What Causes Lightheadedness With High Blood Pressure?

I currently take Zestoric - 12.5 mg daily for high blood pressure. When I was recently at an amusement park, riding a roller coaster, I fainted at the end of the ride. I was unconcious for approx 30 seconds, and when I cam to I was alert. This has never happened to me before, although I have sometimes felt light-headed after riding a particularly intense roller coaster. This most recent roller coaster had numerous drops and inversions, and ws considered quite intense.

Hi,

The episode seems to be a syncope. It could be because of low blood pressure. Please keep yourself hydrated. Avoid an intense rolled coaster ride. A physical examination is must for cardiac and neuro evaluation.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Abhishek Juneja, Neurologist
