General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Think that additional tests are necessary in order to achieve a correct diagnosis of your concerns.

Blood tests about vitamin B12, D3 levels, thyroid gland function tests, spinal tap, nerve conduction study and EMG, evoked potentials (sensory and motor ) are necessary, in my opinion, to evaluate further conditions such peripheral neuropathy and to exclude completely ALS, multiple sclerosis.

If, in the end, these tests will result negative and no condition is found responsible for your symptoms, anxiety and stress disorder should be taken into consideration. Discuss with your Doctor about these tests.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Ivan R. Rommstein, General Surgeon
