What Causes Lightheadedness And Abdominal Cramping After Having Root Canal?

My stomach feels like something I've never experienced before. I don't know how to explain it. But it keeps cramping up on me and i feel light headed. I recently had to get a root canal and was taking lots of tylenol and Aleve. More then the recommended dose. Could it be from that?? i have stopped taking the aleve completely.

As per your complain lightheadedness and stomach cramping after root canal treatment is not due to root canal treatment but seems to be most probably due to the side effect of medicines that you have taken in excess and at times such symptoms can also occur even during regular doses of the painkillers that you have taken..

Nothing to worry, you can consult your dentist and get evaluated and as you have already stopped taking aleve [naproxen] gradually the symptoms will subside.
You can take anti-allergic medications like Cetrizine and proton pump inhibitors like Panatoprazole and mephenemic acid for cramping for relief after consulting your dentist or a general physician..
