What Causes Lighter Skin Color After Healing From Injury?

Hello, about 2 years ago i fell very badly and scraped my knee, at the time there was an infection I did not properly treat. The surrounding the scrape it had a green bacterial infection I assume. Know it has healed and the scab is know gone, my only concern is that the skin is lighter and has small bumps on it. Is it possible that it didn t heal properly? Or am I just looking to into it.- best regards Flores
