What Causes Light Vaginal Spotting And White Discharge After Taking Unwanted 72?

Hi doctor . Me and my girlfriend met physically but did no intercourse just rubbed my penis against her vagina. Her last mestrual cycle was on 21 april and we met on 6 may . Her cycle normally lasts for 25 or 26 days . Then i gave her unwanted 72 within 24 hours . Then she had little period for a night on 19 may and that last till next day with few drops . On 21 she had little white discharge very little . We did urine and blood test on 19 the both are negative . I want to know that is there any chnaces of pregnancy ?

I have read your description and understand your concern.
Postinor 2 is an emergency contraceptive pill. It needs to be taken within 72 hours after an unprotected intercourse. Earlier it is taken, protection seems to be better. What precautions you have taken by administering it by 24 hours is fine.
It prevents pregnancy from happening by causing breakthrough bleeding within 3 weeks from the day of its intake.
In the meantime, some of the symptoms like vaginal discharge and intermittent spotting could happen and can be considered as normal.
In case bleeding in the form of periods does not happen by 3 weeks, you need to take urine pregnancy test and seek medical attention immediately.
The failure rate with use of such pills is about 10 to 15%.
