What Causes Light Pink Bleeding During Periods?

Good evening,
I am a 48 year old woman with a history of generally good physical health (except for moderate to severe depression). From July to December 2013 I did not menstruate, then frequent periods resumed January 2014 to present. During this 2 month period I have menstruated 3 times; 2 times of which were "normal", and the last only 2 days. Immediately after the last two periods finished, I noticed very light pink on the paper after urinating, but my urine was of typical colour. I engage in daily sex with my partner, however, I am unable to become pregnant, since my tubes were cauterized 15 years ago. I do not recall experiencing this light pink before, save for a previous UTI, and currently I have no other symptoms except the blood, which does not appear to be mixed with urine. What could be the cause?
Your valuable thoughts are highly appreciated.
