What Causes Light Periods?

Hi there, I've had my period a couple days ago which was shorter than usual. It lasted two days when normally it's 4-5. It was lighter than usual too. A day after that ended I started spotting a pinkish-brownish color. Only lasted two days. I've also lost my appetite a couple of times which is unusual. I've also been very tired lately which is unusual as well. I have a unprotected sex, but I'm not sure if it is a pregnancy or not. What could be wrong?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
It is not unusual to have shorter period occasionally.
As you got period for two days risk of having pregnancy is less likely but to be on safer side go for pregnancy test after 7-8 days of period to rule out pregnancy.
Take early morning, mid stream urine for testing.
Ok and take care.
