Hello,

Pale stool during pregnancy 36 weeks possible from the liver that causes cholestasis. Cholestasis is the flow of bile from the gallbladder is slow and stop flow normal. It is more common in the third trimesters of pregnancy. And it is most often goes away within a few after delivery. But the high levels of bile may cause serious problems for your developing baby.

You may have symptoms of cholestasis are a pain in the abdomen, light color stool, yellow color skin and eyes and mucous membranes although this is not common).

A lab test may confirm the diagnosis. Such as liver function tests, including the amount of bile acid in the blood, it will be high in cholestasis pregnancy women. Other lab tests including Prothrombin time, it is to check how well your blood clots. You may also have other tests such as ultrasound.

The goal of treatment is to relieve the itching and prevent complications. May include medicine that relieves itching and helps the lower level of bile. Your fetal monitoring to check your developing baby for any problems. You may deliver the baby early, between 37 to 38 weeks of pregnancy. This will lessen the risk of your baby. This may be vaginal delivery with medicine to start labor. or you may have a cesarean delivery.

You should go to visit your home doctor, He or she may decide that you should deliver even earlier, depending on your symptoms, test results, and pregnancy history. Be sure that you follow up with your high blood sugar. Eat healthy food decrease Carbohydrate food that contains to much sugar.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
