What Causes Leg Pain While On Miniville Patch?

HELLO, I JUST STARTED TAKING THE MINIVILLE PATCH FOR 2 MONTHS AND I HAVE NOTICED THAT MY LEGS AND FEET ARE KILLING ME. i HAVE TO TAKE SOMETHING FOF THE PAIN TO WORK. i WORK IN THE HOSPITAL AND I AM ON MY FEET ALL DAY. SHOULD I QUIT TAKING THE PATCH

HI,
I understand your concern. MIniville patch is estradiole hormone patch, used for minimizing symptoms of menopause / oophorectomy ( removal of ovaries ).
* Actually Miniville is not known to cause leg pain, on the other it avoids boney weakness seen in menopause. I feel the pain you have is due to overexertion in hospital duty. You should think of calcium & vitamin D supplement & regular leg exercises.
* I feel you should get a check up by a physician for excluding/ diagnosing varicose veins.
- IN case it's present you should discuss dropping the Miniville patch ( for thromboembolism is one of it's side effect.
